El comité ejecutivo de la organización creo una comisión nacional de emergencia a través de la cual administrará y canalizará todas las ayudas destinadas a los haitianos.
La membresía de las Asambleas de Dios, compuesta por unas 200 mil personas, convertirá las casi dos mil iglesias en pequeños centros de acopio donde los creyentes y la gente de la comunidad expresarán su solidaridad.
Respectivamente, en cada provincia habrá un centro de acopio general y el de Santo Domingo está ubicado en la sede central de las Asambleas de Dios, ubicada en el kilómetro 12 y medio de la Autopista Duarte.

En Haití la persona que servirá de puente para canalizar las entregas de las ayudas será el reverendo Miguel Ovalle, quien ha estado realizando la obra misionera en esta nación desde hace varios años.
Para colaborar económicamente, se ha dispuesto la cuenta número 757449947, del Banco Popular.
El superintendente entrante de las Asambleas de Dios, el reverendo Miguel García, indicó que la organización estará estableciendo contacto con los superintendentes de América Latina y Estados Unidos a los fines de que se solidaricen con la causa haitiana.
Explicó que la situación está siendo tratada por etapas. Lo primero es el rescate de los cuerpos y movilización de los escombros.
Lo segundo es crear conciencia en la comunidad nacional e internacional.
Y, por último, colectar las ayudas para llevarlas a Haití.
Las estaciones de radio evangélicas están permanentemente haciendo un llamado al pueblo en general a favor de esta causa.
